ArtyStART Monday: Thinkin’ about some SHE’s

Grabbing my Rendr sketchook and some Copics, I planned to create a floral because I haven’t drawn a floral in awhile. But, that’s not what ended up coming out. Instead, I grabbed Color Brush and black pens and sHe is what came out. With so many ideas a swirlin’ whirlin’ I was surprised at the reflective moment. I digimixMASHed her a bit with some gelli prints to finish her off. Sometimes, the best ideas come out because you are thinking about some friends. And, lately, I’ve had some sHe’s and their triumph’s and tragedies on my mind.

So, to all my sHe friends… this one’s for YOU!

Speaking of sHe’s… I’m participating in a Mixed Media Blog Hop this Friday, hosted by this sHe! Maria has put together this mixed media group and I’ve enjoyed getting to know some chicks from all over. Sharing art and technique, questions and experiences. It’s a BLAST and open to anyone interested in Art Journaling. If you’re interested we can invite you in to the Facebook group. So… blog hop this Friday. There are 9 girlz and we’re sharing something from our art journals for FUN! Some of us will have some giveaways. I will have a HUGE HONKIN’ box of stamps to giveaway to a good home. 🙂

MIxed Up GirlzSpeaking of a bunch of arty chicks. I had the pleasure of teaching a Copic Canvas Creating class with these lovely ladies this weekend. Thanks for sharing YOU with me ladies! It was a great afternoon! They all started with the same technique and every single person created something different. Love that! Very exciting to watch the creations unfold.

Big Release Week with Avocado Arts. Lot’s of new digital product and NEW stamp set release! Stay tuned this week.
