Fairy Wings and Transparent Things

This little Fairy showed up in my sketchbook. Not sure why, but she’s coming to life and she’s making for great practice in creating Transparent things and WINGS, oh and drawing a TURNED FACE, um…. not as easy as one would think 🙂 Check out how you can see her arms behind the wings. A little tutorial coming on that little diddy.

Art Supply Geek out time! Used some NEW to me watercolor product on this one. Peerless Transparent Watercolor. Really an interesting find. Been around forever, and I’m loving how easy they are to work with in the art journal. I’ll whip up a picture of the palette I created using them. Fun! Fun! Geeky! Watercolor moment!

So, in between “all the moments in between life’s life” she landed on the pages of my sketchbook. Gotta love that. She needs a tweak and I’ll be ready to show her  whimsical whole self.
