Inspiration! The floral kind. ?
The Protea flower is super whimsical and wonky and I just love it! I often get asked how I get inspired to illustrate stamps for my Gina K Designs collections. It usually starts with a painting I’ve created along the way and I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to share.
This week’s stamp set release Whimsy + Wonder was inspired by this watercolor Protea painting I created. It’s a simple little flower with some wild and wonky petals and leaves. I’m fascinated by the Protea.
