Today on the hop we are sharing projects created by Gina K Designs Illustrators Theresa Momber, ME ?, and Claire Brennan. Theresa and Claire’s new releases are SO FUN and there are so many amazing ideas being shared on the hop today. Be sure to stop by and visit everyone’s post.
There’s a lot of goodness in this post, so grab a cuppa and settle in for some inspiration.
Introducing You Are
I thought it might be fun to share the inspiration behind the creation of this set! As many of you who follow my work know, I’m a watercolor artist and wee bit obsessed with painting wreaths and flowers. AND, I have a hand lettering style that is a tad bit wonky. I love sharing quotes and hand lettered inspiration daily in my Instagram feed. During a color challenge I participated in, I illustrated the wreaths and flowers shown below with Copic markers and watercolors. Here are the original illustrations that inspired the design of the set. How fun is that? I thought it would be fun if stampers and makers could create their own wreaths and so… the set was born.
Project Inspiration Using You Are
As a stamper and maker myself, I know how important and FUN it is to have a set that is versatile. Here are some projects I created with the new set. I hope they will inspire you to make some fun projects of your own.
In this card design, inspired by my watercolor work, I stamped the wreath element a few times on watercolor paper and heat set it with Gina K Designs White Detail Embossing Powder. Using Gina K inks and distress oxide inks, I mixed up some color to create the background. Stamping, splatter and popping the heart gives this card a whimsical feel. I’m also LOVING the Pantone Color of the Year, so I’ve been using this color palette a lot lately in my work.
Here are some details in the card design:
This fun stamped project is a little 4×4 card piece that’s a mash up of the You Are set and Claire’s Geo Thanks set. I had a lot of fun with the resist technique and creating a watercolor background in PINK. This mini-canvas like project fits perfectly on the black easel. It sits right on my work desk as a daily reminder of gratitude.
That feather though, right? Who’s with me. I just love that feather from Claire’s Geo Thanks Set and I used it on a lot of my projects. This is a great mashup of Claire’s set along with mine to create this fun card design. And the sentiments finish it off nicely!
The sentiments in the You Are set are intentionally designed to fit within the wreath and fit together with the YOU perfectly. The wreath elements can be used alone or as a whole unit. You are amazing! I love saying that to at least three people a day! It really turns up the happiness vibration for sure. I stamped and heat set the flower image to create the background and OH it’s so lovely. Look at the details.
Here’s another colorful card to share. I can’t help it. I LOVE, puffy heart love super bright color palettes.
Did you SEE the video I shared on StampTV on how to use Gina K Designs Dye Inks to create Watercolor Effects? It’s a super fun one. You can watch it HERE and HERE.
Here’s the card I shared in the video.

Introducing Enchanted Forest by Theresa Momber
Theresa created this whimsically fun stamp set that speaks to the magic inside of us all. The forest flowers, mushrooms and butterflies are perfect for creating whimsical scenes. As soon as I saw the fairy, I knew she would be fun to build a scene with.

Introducing Geo Thanks by Claire Brennan
Claire’s new set, Geo Thanks is such a versatile and fun set. I already mentioned how obsessed I am with her feather design. I used her heart geo and flower geo in my easel project shared above. Oh, and… just sayin’ you’ll see it again in tomorrow’s blog post too! It’s such a versatile set. And the sentiments… Oh the sentiments are typography perfection.
Did you make it all the way to the end? Holy Smokes, I know this post is a long one, but there is so much goodness to share, I just couldn’t leave anything out!
