Fabulous IKEA Find: Extra Workspace

I recently made a trip to IKEA, the mecca of all things organization and goodness. It’s no secret that I love IKEA. You can see another one of my fabulous finds HERE. My whole studio is outfitted with mostly IKEA finds.

I can spend hours in there, skipping about, checking out all the goodness. It’s chock full of GOOD DESIGN and for a designer, it’s inspiration on steroids. I get some fabulous ideas in there from lines, fabric, textures, patterns, simplicity…

On my last trip, I came across this really cool wall-mounted table. So clever. So cool. SO PERFECT for this half wall I have in my studio. WAHOO! And extra surface for projects, or just a place for my kids to do their homework and be close by. A surface without bringing another table in here. I snatched it up toot sweet.

It’s called the NORBO. It was easy to install on the half wall (well, I directed the installation, SNORT). My girly twirly and I sat there yesterday and played a game. Right now, I have a 36 x 36 canvas sitting on it and might be using it as an easel. So versatile. More spread out room. Trying to decide whether to leave it the pine color, or paint it something wild. 🙂

Here’s a pictorial. Click through to see it in action.

Sharing a couple more studio shots tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

      1. Hi Ava, the chairs were from Target, some years back. Just a fold up chair, that I can tuck away when not using. Hope that helps. Thanks for stopping by.
