Craft Your Joy Card Tutorial: Grateful for Flowers
Hi Friends! Thanks so much for stopping by, I’m so grateful you’re here. This video is all about the flowers, and, of course… WATERCOLOR. I’m paying homage to the florals in my Gina K Designs stamp sets and watercoloring them up with a “new to me” art supply brand, Arteza. I’m sharing thoughts and insights on the Arteza 36 watercolor half pan set alongside all my Gina K Designs favorites.
This tutorial takes a bit of a deeper dive watercolor properties, pigments and more. I’m sharing my honest opinion about the new watercolor set by Arteza. (the product was not sent to me, this is not a sponsored post, just a fan of all things watercolor and curious!) I get a little color geeky so stay with me. Tee hee!
I’m also using a new stamp set by Emily Loggans called Thankful and Blessed to create this fun card.

My Craft Mat:
I get a lot of questions about the craft mat I use in my videos. It is a piece of poster board from WR Memory Keepers. They call is Designer Poster Board: Wood White. Manufactured by American Crafts. I had the poster board heavy duty laminated at my local Staples. GREAT for photos, video, craft mat usage. It wipes right off and is heat resistant.
You can find this poster board in many craft and hobby stores.
Affiliate links are used above for products I absolutely LOVE. Purchasing through the link means I will receive a small commission at NO additional cost to you. I never share products I have not personally tried, used and LOVE. I am an illustrator and part of the design team for Gina K Designs and will share Gina K products in my videos as well.
May you find pause from the hustle, and pure joy in the making.
What do you get when you mash-up my weekly video tutorials with a deeper dive into watercolor and painting techniques? You create art that makes you feel good!

Awww! Thank you so much. I’m so glad you found inspiration. Can’t wait to see what you create.
Your card is so gorgeous with that great design and those awesome colors. I love the way you made it.
I love how this card came out Lisa. Thanks for showing us the Arteza Watercolors. I don’t think I will be purchasing them based on what I’ve seen in your video.
P.S. My gift arrived and I love it!
Hi Arlene! So happy to hear you received the gift. Woot! Thank you for the kind words. And, I’m happy to have shared the details about the watercolor set. Sometimes it’s tough to figure out what to buy. I’m just trying to help people figure out what’s a good fit for them for sure. So grateful you stopped by.
