It's Saturday. It's Sketchbook TIME!

Just a little sneak peek into my sketchbook. I love flowers. I draw them, paint them, grow them, LOVE THEM! The just make me happy, happy. This is a little watercolor, gouache paint and watercolor pencil illustration to help you take the winter blues away.

Now, here it is after I digiMIXmashed, giving it a whole new life as a repeat pattern, added some typography and digital illustration.

What do you think?

Building repeat patterns is a designer's toolbox skill that can take your work to a whole new level. It would look fabby on some product, yes?

Hmmm…

Nobody EVER said you had to JUST BE an illustrator, or a watercolorist, or a painter or a graphic designer, or whatever. Nobody EVER said you had to use just ONE medium. Well, if they did, I missed class that day! HA!

EXPLORE. CREATE. BE WHO YOU ARE as an artist!

Me… I'm a MIXmasher and lovin' it!
