Hi Friends! This card tutorial is super fun, simple and big on shine and sparkle. I was inspired to create a “shooting star” like card, but instead of the star I wanted it to burst with flowers… go figure right? Flowers, who knew.

I shared a super fun technique for messy foil application that adds that extra touch of sparkle to the project. I hope this tutorial inspires you to craft your JOY. This card can be completed start to finish in under 10 minutes. Not too shabby. And a quick video tutorial too.

My Craft Mat:

I get a lot of questions about the craft mat I use in my videos. It is a piece of poster board from WR Memory Keepers. They call is Designer Poster Board: Wood White. Manufactured by American Crafts. I had the poster board heavy duty laminated at my local Staples. GREAT for photos, video, craft mat usage. It wipes right off and is heat resistant.
