Craft Your Joy Video: Watercolor Effects with Background Stamps

Today, I’m sharing a few ways you can use background stamps to create patterned paper and achieve gorgeous watercolor effects. I’m diggin’ the new 6×6 Gina K Designs red rubber background stamps and I just had to push them a bit to create some fun patterns.
I love it when you can use a stamp supply to the max, don’t you? Background stamps are perfect for creating gorgeous stand alone patterns and I’m sharing some of my favorite color combinations and color mixing techniques.
In this video, I’m using my stamp set Hello Beautiful with Gina K Designs along with the Rose Lace background stamp designed by Gina Krupsky.

My Craft Mat:
I get a lot of questions about the craft mat I use in my videos. It is a piece of poster board from WR Memory Keepers. They call is Designer Poster Board: Wood White. Manufactured by American Crafts. I had the poster board heavy duty laminated at my local Staples. GREAT for photos, video, craft mat usage. It wipes right off and is heat resistant.
