Craft Your Joy Video: You Make Me Smile Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! Thanks so much for stopping by, I’m so grateful you’re here. In today’s card tutorial, I’m sharing a card project that is bright and colorful using masking techniques and more. I’m also sharing a very personal story about something that happened in my life that influences how I create and what shows up in my work.

I hope you’ll tune in for the whole story. I’d love to hear from you.

This card just makes me happy happy!

In this video, I’m using my stamp set Hello Beautiful with Gina K Designs along with Butterfly Kisses and Where Flowers Bloom designed by Gina Krupsky.

My Craft Mat:

I get a lot of questions about the craft mat I use in my videos. It is a piece of poster board from WR Memory Keepers. They call is Designer Poster Board: Wood White. Manufactured by American Crafts. I had the poster board heavy duty laminated at my local Staples. GREAT for photos, video, craft mat usage. It wipes right off and is heat resistant.

You can find this poster board in many craft and hobby stores. Or you can shop via this affiliate link: https://amzn.to/2GKP3Qp

  1. Lots of pretty colors here. Love the way you used them on your cards.

  2. I love your bright spirit in your video presentations. You always make me feel happy. It is fascinating watching you develop your art. So much of what you do is just perfect to me. I love ink on paper, so I find the foil disconcerting; but kudos to you for exploring many mediums. I look forward to following you via email. Already enjoy you on IG.

Where in Maryland? I lived in Baltimore for a few years and loved it there. Nature is so beautiful in Maryland.

    1. Nancy, I’m so grateful you stopped by. And I LOVE that my sharing makes you happy. That’s my entire goal! The foil was a challenge for me too at first, but once I dove in and started playing… holy smokes I love the shimmer. And, I’m not a super shimmery gal. I’m about 50 minutes northwest of Baltimore. In Carroll County and yes we get every season here and it’s lovely! I’m so grateful you’ve joined my email list. I share so many specials and freebies with my community. You are so kind!
