Holy Smokes! It’s STAMPtember 2018
I’m super excited and grateful to be participating in STAMPtember this year. During the month of September, Simon Says Stamp debuts a wide assortment of amazing and inspiring products in conjunction with a wide range of manufacturers. It’s a huge stampy celebration. Today, Simon is having a massive STAMPtember® blog party. A party, not a hop. It’s a big honkin’ celebration PARTY!
You can find all of the amazing crafters and makers celebrating and sharing new release projects on the Simon Says Stamp Blog here.
Here’s a SPOOKY Project Share using the new Handlettered Halloween Set
Here’s a closer look at some of the fun detail in this handlettered halloween stamp set. Creating this halloween card was super easy to do. I layered up all of the sentiments in this new set on my misti, inked them up with some versamark and embossed them with BLACK embossing powder. The effect is subtle but bold and I added a bit of squeezed lemonade distress oxide around the “SO SPOOKY” just to make it pop a bit. The little pumpkin in the set is just so stinkin’ cute and is the perfect accent for the card. There’s a bat and a spider too. Super quick card to create that’s fun to give and receive. This set is perfect for all your HALLOWEEN papercrafting creations.
Hello Pumpkin using the new Handlettered Halloween Set
This sentiment from the handlettered halloween stamp set was just begging for me to paint a big mama pumpkin to go with. When pumpkins want to be painted, you must paint them. Tee hee. Isn’t this little jack-o-lantern stamp so cute. This set is so much fun!
May you find pause from the hustle, and pure joy in the making.
